About A Squared Enterprises,

We
are a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Amy E. and Arnold A. Bosch in Albuquerque NM.
Amy maintains a full time position with Mobile Screen and Glass of Albuquerque.
Arnold, a U.S. Air Force veteran, recently retired from the Albuquerque VA
Medical Center with 30 years of government service, 26 of which as a Biomedical Engineering Technician. We wanted to supplement our pension and besides, I wanted some reason to get excited about rolling out of bed in the morning. Seemed like a logical and healthy idea.
We have been in
business since June, 2004. A2E went online in December, 2005 with
two websites. High Desert Defense dot com
specialized in non-lethal self defense products and our other site, High Desert Protection dot com
was focused primarily on state of the art video surveillance products and
hidden cameras. These sites enjoyed reasonable success in spite of the
questionable skills of the self taught webmaster (that'd be me, Arnie Bosch). During the
summer of 2007 we contracted with a professional Internet Marketing Firm to consolidate the two sites into this one under the one name High Desert Protection.
March, 2008 - Working with one of our clients, Cast Specialty Transportation of Carlsbad, NM we
have identified a unique need for a totally new niche market. Utilizing a number of our products we have configured a specialized
mobile blind spot elimination video system and resulting liability protection for commercial trucks. Due to the unique nature of this offering we have given it its own gateway product page at
www.SafeTruckin'.com.
Our philosophy:
After a successful career, continuing to work
shouldn't involve punching a timeclock, by my way of thinking. A business of our own seemed appealing, but we didn't want the encumbrances of a 'brick and mortar.' The internet seemed like just the thing. Whatever we decided to do, most of all
we wanted it to be positive and helpful to people and we didn't want to directly compete with your local mega-wallyworld discount store. After much research and serious thought we decided that non lethal self defense and video security would
be just the ticket.

We've been bikers since long before it became the fashionable thing to be. Amy is still in the Glass and Screen business and she said to be sure to tell you 'you should buy something so she can retire too!'
In response to a number of email inquiries about our Harley Davidson, the paint is a custom mixed black cherry pearl. We bought it new as a 1991 FXSTS Springer Softail. (Actually, it was a pre-wedding-wedding (sic) gift from Amy! I wasn't sure I wanted to commit... she convinced me... funny how a chrome and steel bauble can turn a fella's head!) Anyhow, I T-boned a station wagon in 1996 when some ~@*#% lady cut me off, destroying the front end (nearly destroying me!) and I built this beast from the wreckage with my own hands. The engine, far from stock, is a great performer and very loud... and no, it's NOT for sale!
